EVILE Guitarist Jams Out MEGADETH, ANNIHILATOR, METALLICA; Video Available

March 24, 2009

EVILE guitarist Ol Drake has posted a collection of video clips showcasing his "influences." He says, "Amidst the non-stop work for EVILE's second album, I like to take the time to jam along to songs I love and learn things I've wanted to learn for years, and I'm currently on a MEGADETH bender. Amazing band. I also included some Slash solos I love from 'November Rain' by GUNS N' ROSES and a 'How to Play' of 'The Thing That Should Not Be' by METALLICA (initially for a friend of mine who doesn't believe me it's tuned fully to D! It's not DROP-D!). I thought METALLICA fans/guitarists might find it interesting too. I also included 'Word Salad' by ANNIHILATOR. I jammed to this song for years, I also spent several years tabbing ANNIHILATOR's albums."

EVILE's as-yet untitled second album is due to be released in late 2009 through Earache Records.

The band is set to embark on its first full headlining U.K. tour in April with support from WARPATH and MUTANT.

EVILE's debut album, "Enter The Grave", was recently reissued as a special redux edition, including a guitar pick, "Enter The Grave" patch and an exclusive two-hour bonus DVD.

MEGADETH - "Skin O' My Teeth" Solo

MEGADETH - "Symphony of Destruction" Solo

ANNIHILATOR - "Word Salad" (with solos)
